Submissions

The Apalachee Tortoise is a community newspaper.
We accept unsolicited submissions from anyone and will consider them for publication, along with everything else that is submitted each month. The final decision to publish any article lies with our editorial board, and depends on subject matter, style, and available space.

Please attach your article as an unformatted Word document or paste it into the mail body and send to apalacheetortoise@hotmail.com
In addition, please indicate if you can provide photos with your article (if applicable).

If you have a specific story idea, please send us a query outlining your proposal.

We also accept submissions for political cartoons. Please send a low-res preview (JPG or PDF file) of your artwork to us first to query.
